MTS has done over 45 MCC and PDC upgrade projects for various clients, which included replacing the existing MCCs and associated ACPs and PLC equipment. We are familiar with electrical design and installation standards which include MCC, ACP, PLC, HMI and RTU. We are well acquainted with the various Allen Bradley platforms including ControlLogix with Ethernet. All our MCC upgrades in the past have included pre-shutdown and shutdown work. Through this extensive experience we realize how important it is to organize the pre-shutdown work in such a manner that will minimize down time which is a critical factor in the success of the MCC upgrade.
PROTECTION AND CONTROL
MTS has successfully worked in upgrading protection systems for 132kV/12.47kV/6.6kV/2.3kV for different types of switchgear. These upgrades included adding new metering equipment, changing the existing electromechanical relays to electronic micro processor relays for protection and control. MTS has also optimized generators with the latest instrumentation technology for tighter SCADA control. Our services include supervision and installation of new equipment, customized control simulation and personal training. We also provide on-site assistance, when required, for a successful start-up.
PROCESS AND CONTROL
MTS has done process and control upgrades for several industrial process areas using the latest instrumentation technology and PLC, DeltaV, SCADA, HMI interfaces. This work included upgrading the system from the field end to the control end.
